In professional boxing since 2014, Esquiva Falcão has maintained an unbeaten record of 21 victories. Now the Olympic runner-up will face Argentine Guido Nicolas “Chico” Pitto for the middleweight belt on October 20th in Las Vegas. Focused on the title, but thinking about the future, the Brazilian usually publishes challenges through his social networks, as he did with the former Ultimate champion, Conor McGregor. The boxer stated in an interview with the website “Tatame” that he wants a confrontation with ‘Notorious’ in MMA.

“I like to play, launch a challenge, just like I did last time: Dodge x Conor McGregor. And the fans like it, because I'm from one sport and he's from the other. I intend to fight, yes (MMA), after I become world champion, to feel the adrenaline that comes with fighting MMA. In mind, I don't have any fighters. I would like to fight McGregor, I don't know how he will be there, I don't know if he will still be fighting. I like to face the best. If I beat a champion, I'm the champion. If one day I go to MMA, I want to face the best,” said Esquiva.

Still in boxing, Esquiva wants a rematch with Ryota Murata due to a controversial decision for the gold medal in the final of the 2012 Olympic Games. “The most important thing is the fight for the belt. And there is also the Olympic rematch, which was marked not only in Brazil, but throughout the world. This is very important and let's find out who was the Olympic champion. It's a rematch that Brazil wants, that I want and that he wants too. It's a fight that will really move Brazilian Boxing. It will give you something to talk about. I will be ready for this fight. It’s one of the fights of my life”, explained the Brazilian.

On the rise in world boxing, Esquiva says even though he trains and fights hard he still has a lot to show. He assured that his fans have not yet seen his “complete boxing”. He will probably show his full potential in an important fight for the belt.
