After a series of cancellations, Ultimate announced a new fight to fill the vacancy left by Antonio Shoe Guy and Elias Theodorou on the card of UFC Sao Paulo. Heavyweights Augusto Sakai and Chase sherman they will face each other on September 22nd at the Ibirapuera gym. According to the “MMA Brasil” website, the contract between the fighters has already been signed.

With a victory in the first episode of Contender Series Brasil, Augusto Sakai signed a contract with Ultimate after knocking out Marcus Conrado. The former Bellator has a record of 13 fights with 11 wins, one draw and one defeat.
Your opponent, Chase sherman at 29 years old, he has been in the UFC since 2016. In his last two fights, 'The Vanilla Gorilla' lost to Shamil Abdurakhimo and Justin Willis. Before that, the American beat Rashad Coulter and Damian Grabowski.
O UFC Sao Paulo is headlined by light heavyweights Jimi Manuwa and Thiago Santos. After leaving Ketlen Scallop and Tonya Evinger from the co-main event, Ultimate has not yet announced which fight will take its place.
