Bruce Buffer is known for being the voice of Ultimate, as he announces most of the organization's fights. The announcer was asked about the lightweight's complaints, Nate diaz that the UFC would not be promoting him properly. In an interview with the website “TMZ”, the announcer stated that the fighter should be 'bowing down' to Dana White, as he earned US$7 million in his last fight.
“Nate, I heard you made seven or more million dollars in your last fight. I don't want to hear you complaining about being promoted by the UFC. You should be thanking the UFC and bowing down to Dana White every time you see him,” said Buffer.

the last fight of Nate diaz It was in August 2016, when he had a rematch against Conor McGregor at UFC 202. The Las Vegas event sold US$1,6 million in pay per view purchases, breaking the Ultimate record. The Nevada Athletic Commission announced that the American's scholarship was US$2 million. In the end, the estimated amount received by the lightweight was more than US$10 million including pay per view and sponsorships.
A third fight between Diaz and McGregor could happen according to Buffer, but it will depend on the outcome of the clash between the Irishman and the champion, Khabib Numagomedov.
“I think we all want to see that, but I don't think we can make determinations on anything until we see what happens between Khabib and Conor. This is a big fight. I don't think in front of my guns – I think behind my guns. Let’s see what happens and then the UFC’s marketing brains will put together what’s best for the fans,” concluded Bruce.
Nate diaz will face Dustin poirier at UFC 230, on November 3 in New York. In August, after a press conference to promote the event, Diaz declared that Ultimate did not support him during a civil lawsuit filed by his former managers. With that, he said that he might not attend the duel with Dustin.
