Glover gets visa and aims for UFC in 2012

The wait was long, but after many attempts the Brazilian Glover Teixeira got a visa to enter the United States and can now sign with any international event, including the UFC. After spending some time illegally in American territory, the Brazilian athlete obtained a “forgiveness card” from the consulate this Friday and his visa has now been released. The information was released by friend and training partner, Pedro Rizzo, via Twitter.

“The visa just came out for Glover. That means UFC, here we come…”, wrote Rizzo on the microblog.

Glover Teixeira He has a record in MMA of 17 wins and just two losses, and is considered the best athlete operating in Brazil in recent years. Furthermore, he is enjoying the best moment of his career with 15 consecutive victories, including victories over former UFC champion, Ricco Rodriguez, last November.
