Brazilian Rani Yahya finishes quickly and asks for a title shot at UFC Lincoln

UFC Fight Night Lincoln, an event held this Saturday (25), in the USA, started off on the right foot for the Brazilians. With six representatives from the country at the show, the first one to step into the Octagon needed just over a minute to have his arm raised. The Brazilian Rani Yaya finished the North American Luke sanders, has scored nine victories in the last 11 fights and is already dreaming big. At the end of the contest, he challenged the bantamweight champion (up to 61,2 kg) for the category belt.

The fight

First Brazilian to climb into the octagon, Rani Yaya It took just over a minute to defeat Luke sanders. The Brasilia native showed progress in his stand-up fight and even threatened the North American with a high kick. But the blow was just a feint for him to shorten the match and take the fight to the ground.

On the ground, Rani showed all her jiu-jitsu skills and quickly attacked Sanders' leg. The North American tried to escape, but was unsuccessful and ended up giving up 1m31s into the contest.
