Paulo Borrachinha guarantees that he would knock out Robert Whittaker and Yoel Romero in two rounds

The clash between the middleweight champion, Robert whittaker e Yoel romero in the main fight of UFC 225, he enchanted spectators with a straightforward five-round fight, even though it was not valid for the category title. In an interview with the “MMA Fighting” website, Paulo 'Borrachinha' Costa stated that he was not impressed with the athletes' performance.

The Brazilian guaranteed that if he was in the octagon with Whittaker and Romero he would knock them both out and the fight wouldn't even reach the third round.

“I didn’t like the fight between Whittaker and Romero. I thought to myself, if I had been in that cage, I would have knocked them both out because they had the opportunity to connect clean blows to the face and no one went down. If it were me, I would have hit them sooner. I wouldn’t even make it to the third round”, explained Paulo.

Borrachinha will be able to prove his 'theory' with Romero at UFC 230, November 3, at Madison Square Garden. The confrontation between the athletes was confirmed by Ultimate.

Regarding Romero's weight loss, Paulo asks that his rival cannot weigh 84 kg so that he can receive 20 or 30% of his purse.

“That’s 20% more going into my pocket. All I want is for him to lose weight. Get there heavy and give me 20 or 30%. Thirty is even better. That 's all I want. Yoel romero, eat a lot and get there heavy, please. I want your 30 percent”, Borrachinha joked.
