Thiago 'Pitbull' Alves was the second Brazilian confirmed for the first UFC Moscow on September 15th. He will face newcomer and home owner Alexey Kunchenko at welterweight.

Pitbull has 33 fights in his professional MMA career, with 22 wins and 11 losses. In his last five fights, he has had his arm raised in two. The Brazilian is coming off a setback to Curtis Millender, where he was knocked out in the second round.
His opponent, Kunchenko, is the M-1 champion and will make his Ultimate debut at home. Furthermore, Alexey is undefeated in MMA for 18 fights, 13 of which he won by knockout.
