The featherweight champion, Max Holloway would put his belt up for grabs at UFC 226 against Brian ortega, but was withdrawn from the event due to having “concussion-like symptoms” during the week before the clash. Since then, many rumors have suggested that 'Blessed' had suffered a stroke. The fighter's team denied rumors about the American's health.

Holloway's manager also made a quick statement about the rumors in response to the ESPN journalist. “All I can say right now is that we are not sure who is trying to manipulate the media with stroke rumors. I can't imagine what kind of doctors would discharge Max from the emergency room if they really thought he had a stroke," Brian Butler explained to Okamoto.

Max Holloway recently returned to Las Vegas to undergo a series of tests to assess his health. Apparently he's "starting to feel better."
“Back to the mainland for more exams. Thank you [UFC] and doctors for following along to try to figure this out. Starting to feel better,” Holloway said.
