Free to compete again in Ultimate in November, Anderson Silva wants to return to the octagon 'as soon as possible'. After 12 months out of the UFC, the Brazilian is already thinking about his next opponent. In an interview with the website “MMAFighting”, 'Spider' states that a fight with former UFC welterweight champion, Georges St-Pierre 'could happen'.
“Anything is possible in the UFC, man. It is a very eclectic company, with a broad view of the sport. They are going through a new moment, a moment of entertainment, so anything can happen”, said Anderson.

A superfight between the athletes was already considered when both dominated their respective divisions (welterweight and middleweight) in the UFC, but it never got off the ground.
In November last year, St-Pierre returned from retirement and left the welterweight division to face Michael Bisping for the middleweight belt. GSP emerged victorious at UFC 217 and secured titles in two different weight classes.
