Rogério Minotouro returns to Ultimate at UFC SP against Sam Alvey

After being cleared in the doping case, the Brazilian seeks recovery against the North American in the card held at the Ibirapuera gym

Without fighting for almost two years, after serving a doping suspension, in which he was cleared due to supplement contamination, Rogério Minotouro will return to the Ultimate Octagon on Brazilian soil. He stares Sam alvey in the light heavyweight category on September 22nd at UFC Sao Paulo.

Minotouro's last fight was a defeat to Ryan bader, November 19, 2016 in São Paulo. The Brazilian has 30 fights in his career, with 22 wins and eight losses. Rogério is going through a bad time in Ultimate, in four fights he only had one triumph over Patrick Cummins in May 2016.

His opponent, known for his constant smile, has a record of 44 fights, with 33 wins, 10 losses and one unsuccessful fight. 'Smile'N' comes from two straight victories against Marcin Prachnio e Gian Villante.
