This Monday afternoon (23) was one of relief for three Brazilian fighters. junior gypsy, Rogério Minotouro  e Marcos Foot were cleared of doping suspension by the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA). The entity understood that the athletes were victims of supplements contaminated by pharmacies in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo.

USADA analyzed the supplements ingested by athletes and considered contamination during handling. The entity ordered supplements from the same pharmacies to prove the presence of the substances, as well as other additional prohibited drugs. Brazilian official bodies supported the process.

The Brazilian athletes, because they were victims of pharmacies, had their sentences reduced to six months. All of them have already served their suspension and can return to the UFC immediately.

USADA stated that it intends to continue investigations together with Brazilian bodies and authorities.
