Jon Jones closed a historic year by winning the UFC light heavyweight belt, winning four fights, three against former champions of the category and an important prospect.

Jones' dominance in one of the organization's most talented categories is beginning to spark debates about who can dethrone the young champion. And the main name suggested is that of Anderson Silva, middleweight champion who has also been “cleaning up” the category.

“I don’t see this fight happening anytime soon. Jon Jones He's young, he's 24 years old. He gets there and faces the best fighters in the light heavyweight division. What people also need to understand is that Anderson Silva is 37 years old. They are in different categories.”
