Márfio Canoletti's return to K-1 was not good for the Brazilian. In a tough fight against the Japanese Yuya Yamamoto, Márfio ended up defeated by unanimous decision from the judges. In the tournament held at K-1 World Max, the highlight was the fight between Andy Souwer and Mike Zambidis, which required an extra round for Souwer to determine his victory with a knockout.
