The New Zealander Robert whittaker There are many reasons to celebrate. After winning the battle against Yoel romero this Saturday (09), he won the 'Fight of the Night' award at UFC 225, an event held in Chicago (USA). Each fighter would receive a bonus of US$50, around R$185 at the current rate. But as Romero did not make weight in the middleweight division, his prize was passed on to the champion who earned US$100 (R$370). In the five-round duel, Whittaker prevailed in a close decision by the judges.

In addition to Whittaker and Romero, the one who also left the show with a full pocket was the Brazilian Charles of the Bronx. He won the 'Performance of the Night' award for finishing Clay guida with a guillotine choke on the preliminary card and also pocketed US$50.
The other performance bonus went to the heavyweight Curtis blaydes who knocked out alistair overeem brutally in the duel that ended the preliminary program.
