One of the greatest honors for athletes on the planet is carrying the Olympic torch a few meters as it travels around the world before arriving in China for this year's Olympic Games. While passing through Russia, on April 5th, this honor was granted to the MMA super-champion, Fedor Emelianenko, who carried the torch in the city of St.Petersburg.
Fedor expressed satisfaction at having received such an honor. "I feel very good. I was chosen as one of 5 to carry the torch. I’m very happy and proud,” said Fedor.
