Jungle Fight returns successfully

around the Jungle Fight it was a success. Coordinated by Wallid Ismail, the qualification event for the show at the end of the year exceeded expectations. “If the selection for the Jungle Fight It can already be considered the biggest event in the country, imagine what the main event will be like”, said Wallid.

Held yesterday at the Nogueira brothers' CT in Rio de Janeiro, it was attended by several personalities such as the musician Dudu Nobre, the National Secretary of High Performance Sports, Djan Madruga, the former volleyball player Bernard Razjman, as well as big names from the world of fighting like Oswaldo Paquetá, Ricardo arona, Thiago tavares, Roberto Gordo, Amaury Bitetti, Joinha, and of course the brothers Rodrigo Minotauro e Rogério Minotouro, and many others witnessed exciting battles from Jungle Fight Qualifying.

The first fight of the event was considered one of the best of the night. Always putting on a show in his fights, Erinaldo Pitbull (Gracie Fusion) fought a battle against the Killer Bees athlete, Vinícius Lemos. After managing to defend a fair leg-lock in the first round, Pitbull dominated the next two rounds, even knocking Vinícius down in the last round, taking victory by unanimous decision by the judges.

The only fight that ended in the first round was between Marcos Bicudinho (BTT) and André Oliveira (Caverna Top Brothers). André started out scared when he was hit by a combination of jab and straight shot from Bicudinho, but after recovering he kept the fight on his feet and landed a straight shot that led to the BTT athlete being knocked out after 3 minutes and 50 seconds. With extremely refined Jiu-Jitsu, Alexandre Pulga (NG Combate) achieved his second victory in his career by submitting Paulo Eduardo (Tata Fight Team) in the second round with a triangle, after several omoplata and triangle attempts.

The third fight was also electrifying, with Rodrigo Ximbica (Gracie Fusion) and Pedro Manoel (Fight Club) going for a stand-up. In the first minutes of the fight, Pedro Manoel suffered a cut on his face after receiving a high kick from Ximbica, who won the fight due to medical interruption. Another one who performed well was Rodrigo Smurf (Carlos Henrique JJ), who defeated Maicon Ribeiro by forfeit in the third round.

In the main fight of the night, Paulo thiago (Constrictor Team) fought well on top and bottom, making life difficult for Leonardo Peçanha, who was making his debut for Minotauro Team. Even with the help of Leonardo Castello Branco, Amaury Bitetti, Minotauro and Minotouro and other teammates, Peçanha ended up defeated by the new promise from Brasília in a unanimous decision by the judges. Wallid Ismail announced that the Jungle Fight 8 will be at Iate Clube Jardim Guanabara, on Ilha do Governador (RJ) and the ninth edition will be at Maracanãzinho.
