Claudius Hannibal is back! That was the Brazilian's shout in the octagon set up at the Echo Arena, in Liverpool. The Brazilian athlete, who suffered from a series of injuries and spent four years without fighting, overcame his lack of rhythm and submitted Nordine Taleb, known for being Neymar's bodyguard in Paris. He secured a rear naked choke at the end of the first round (Watch the finishing video below) and secured his third Ultimate triumph.

"Believe in yourself! Lute, I was weighing 110kg, I dropped to 77kg. My body hasn't been in the Octagon for four years, but my soul has always been here,” said the Brazilian, visibly emotional, still in the Octagon.
The fight
Without climbing into the Octagon this November 2018, Claudius Hannibal started the duel against Nordine Taleb with difficulties. The Brazilian threw a high kick, but the French-Canadian blocked the blow and knocked Claudio down. He got up afterwards, but was unable to fight on his feet.
Taleb connected the best blows and hit Hannibal every time the Brazilian tried to take him down. However, halfway through the partial, the Tupiniquim athlete managed to take the fight to the ground, already falling with half guard passed. Taleb still found space to get up, but preferred to attack the Brazilian's knee. The movement was fatal. Claudio defended the key, stabilized the position on top and reached mount. He threw punches from above, reached his back and quickly secured the rear naked choke to achieve victory.
