Fabrício Werdum falls under anti-doping test and should not face Oleynik at UFC Moscow

The Brazilian was scheduled to face the Russian Aleksey Oleynik on September 15th, but must withdraw from the fight

Just a few hours after being announced in the main fight of UFC Moscow, Fabricio Werdum is off the show. The Brazilian was notified of a possible violation in an anti-doping test carried out by the US Anti-Doping Agency (USADA). The test was carried out on April 25th during an out-of-competition period. Ultimate confirmed the violation through an official note.

In the statement, there is no information about what type of substance was found in the Brazilian's test.

Werdum was scheduled to face Aleksey Oleynik in the UFC Moscow, the organization's first event in Russia, on September 15th. But with the change in the test, he will be suspended indefinitely and will be out of action until the trial.
