    my count

    10 – 10 no / 10-9 hendo /10-9 hendo/ 10-9 Shogun / 10- 9 shogun

    48 to 48 or a beautiful draw…

Look, if in the third it was 10-8 for Hendo in 5 it would have to be 10-8 for Shogun

That fight was a draw, Henderson won the first two rounds, the third was a draw. The fourth and fifth Shogun was the winner, without a doubt. Just watch again and tell us.
It turns out that the hosts don't like to lose.

Really, this fight was a draw, analyzing it in a general context, shogun dominated the fifth round, without any action from henderson, it should have been 10 x 8, the last score, because it was a monologue, that's my opinion!

Of course, the shgun has a lot of ups and downs, I think against Jon Jones it made the shogun feel sorry because he showed himself to be a great asshole, he committed a real massacre without any chance of reaction and against Dan Handerson it was the same thing that made the shogun feel sorry without any power of reaction and with a lot of weakness very calm in the fight but even so I'm rooting for him I hope he comes with more desire for the next fights, but against Dan Handerson he also lost, just look at his face and the damage left after the fight valew dan handerson,,

Well, I want to see the fight, bro, I didn't watch UFC yesterday 🙁

See, Shogun got what he deserved: a lot of beatings. This fighter is full of ups and downs. He was out of shape and wasn't knocked out because Henderson didn't have enough physical strength to beat him, as age takes its toll (Henderson is 41 years old). Now I'm wondering: how can Lyoto Machida be knocked out by a softie like that Shogun? There are times when he gives in to the fight? He was massacred by Jon Jones, felt sorry for this poor guy and hit him enough to knock him out. Remedy for Jones: Lyoto Machida, this will be the first opponent capable of bringing the middleweight belt to Brazil. If he doesn't win, I honestly don't see a style in these fighters that would take the belt away from Jones. If Shogun tried to compete with Jones, he would be defeated, without a doubt.

As always with the judges, it always leans on the American side, when the decision is close.

Next, am I the only one who realized that this fight was bought? Note that even in the third round, the shogun remains soft, defends himself, avoiding his style and after the third round, when the victory for the American was already guaranteed, he decided to wake up and those who saw the fight and those who know and are fans of the sport and knows the fighters, analyze from the fourth round onwards, the shogun had a time when henderson was standing and the shogun stopped attacking and could knock him out standing... everything was played... the shogun wanted to guarantee henderson's victory until the third round and then in the fourth and fifth rounds he had to do something to avoid losing by knockout or to not end up looking so bad in the fight... several times he dropped Henderson in positions that he dominated in jiu jitsu... this is an opinion mine and many other people's for sure. hug…

    Shogun sold out!!!

Well, Eduardo, did you really notice that the fight was bought, Shogun, the 2nd best in the category, fighting to get the belt back, making a soft move….Only if it was on another planet!!!

many comments make some sense, others are discarded; FOR THOSE who don't know; DAN HENDERSON beat VITORBEF 'RENATO SOBRAL; BABALU; TOQUINHO; BEAN; WHO TRAINS WITH ANDERSON SILVA; IT WAS AN UNPRECEDENTED FIGHT WITH SHOGUN WHO HAD A GREAT FIGHT; SHOWING THAT IT IS STILL AMONG THE TOP OF THIS CATEGORY; THE BRAZILIAN TAKEN CLEAN BLOWS THAT WOULD KNOCK OUT ANYONE / BUT HE RESISTED / AND HIT WHEN THE 4 AND 5 ROND / FOR ALL THE SHITTS WHO DON'T KNOW HOW TO FALSE A BRAZILIAN WARRIOR WITH A SHOGUN, HERE'S MY MESSAGE YOU WANT TO TALK SHIT; PUT YOUR MOUTH IN; AND SPEAK

Shogun was a warrior, for me it was 3 to 2 for Henderson. The shogun just didn't deserve the draw, which would have been 10 to 8 in the 5th round, because his blows didn't have as much power due to fatigue.

True, I've already realized that there are tricks in these fights, the comment below was what I imagined, there are fights where you can see that it's agreed, in a straight face...
    Nobody changes my opinion….

Damn, can I confess? I can't see Shogun as a great champion, bro, the guy (in my opinion) doesn't have good movement, he's an easy target, feet stuck to the ground, slow, uncreative strikes when tired, swings with his shoulders (and not with feet) and without precision. Don't get me wrong, I'm rooting for him and I'd really like to see him at the top again, but I see something positive too: 01 – can take a beating! 02 – Good jiu-jitsu, 03 – manages to land some shots that give him the chance to win.

He would need to change his movement style to not be like the others. Have you noticed that everyone who supports the top are not stationary targets? Soft feet, lean and unpredictable body…. These characteristics are more like Lyoto, he knows how to hit and get out, he doesn't like taking hits, however, for him (Lyoto) what's missing most is aggression, more attack and explosion.

    That's what I think, thanks.

    • Lopes said:

Lyoto is fast but in both fights against Shogun he was defeated (in my opinion) Lyoto only won the first one by the judges, Shogun may not be agile but he is very resistant to hits, which makes him a very difficult guy to be defeated/defeated

    It was great...the fight

    great fight……..

  14. leandro said:

Guys, was it forbidden to kick? Se n hend was an easy target. I didn't understand.

  15. werdey said:

Dude, I'm a fan of the shogun and I think he did well and could define the fight in the 5th round. But unfortunately he was out of gas and couldn't use his strikes, I think he's the guy but he's not managing to acquire his good physical shape. You know, it could be the fault of your physical trainers.

  16. Junior said:

Guys, Shoggun was very good, he deserved to win and he's one of the best fighters I've ever seen… He's already beaten many tough fighters like: Minotouro, Alistair Overenn, Quinton Jackson, Ricardo Arona, Mark Coleman, Chuck Liddell, Lyoto Machida…

And there are some idiots out there who keep posting that the guy is bad, a joke, right?
And he only lost the belt because he had come back from surgery and had not fought for a long time, but his rematch against Jonh Jones will come and then he will show who is the best.

    On top of him Shoggun!!!

  17. pikua said:

It's not bad to say anything bad about Maurício, but he was better without a doubt in 1ron, 2, 3 and due to his age, 41, he got tired without a doubt, but he fought hard.

SHOGUN LOST TO AN OLD MAN>>>

  19. Ricardo S SANTOS said:

I haven't seen this fight yet, but personally I believe that the shogun will improve, he needs to be more aggressive and cautious, if he's having a problem he should focus more on his goals, just being in the octagon isn't enough, he has to get into the fight to worth it, I'm sure he will find himself. Good luck shogun. Faith in God Brother.

  20. walLace said:

Eduardo, I thought that too but I didn't post it because they would think it was just me... But bought or not, neither of them today (at least today) has no chance against JJ…
Even when purchased, this was A FUCKING FIGHT!

  21. Rafael said:

Without a doubt this was the best fight of the year, shogun should have been more aggressive so I'm sure he would have won, but congratulations to both of them, it was a great fight.

  22. Cleidson Silva said:

Next… Shogun is one of the top light heavyweights in the UFC, and one of the best in the world. He fought a guy who was flying, and the shogun would have been able to win that fight. Unfortunately, these guys talk bad about Brazilians, and the worst part is that these muggles don't even respect the guy. Bunch of idiots!!!

  23. Fighter said:

Henderson really evolved a lot, he became a top athlete,
shogun is a very warrior, very technical and has a quality that is not easily acquired: Grit and Race.
I think the shogun needs to use his elbows more in the groundpound and forget about sock sweeps, his opponents are kind of vaccinated to that.
Shogun deserves complete respect from everyone.
For me, unfortunately, he lost, but by very little difference.

  24. Wallace said:

I think that anyone here who criticizes the shogun or any fighter for me is a beast, because the guy had a historic fight, he didn't deliver at any point, he never ran away from any fight, that's what everyone likes to see, I've never seen it, shogun go there just to win or something like that, I always saw him going out and fighting, anyone who says anything bad about a guy like that doesn't deserve respect in my opinion!
