Vitor belfort ended his career with an incredible coincidence. In his last fight as a professional, the 'Phenomenon' was knocked out by Lyoto Machida with a front stomp that leaked his guard. Interestingly, the same blow marked the setback suffered against another Brazilian: at UFC 126, in February 2011, Anderson Silva knocked out Vitor in the same way.
The similarity of the blows is so great that even Belfort recognized it. On Sunday afternoon (13), the fighter posted a video on Instagram of the two blows and wrote: “Who said lightning doesn't hit the same place twice? All my respect to Lyoto Machida”, he posted.
