The 12th edition of Brave, held this Friday (11), in Jakarta, Indonesia, marked the Brazilian's debut Leonardo Macarrão Mafra in the promotion. The country's only representative on the show suffered a knee injury at the end of the first round and ended up having his fight against Gadzhimusa Gaziev interrupted. In the main duel of the night, Eldar Eldarov beat Brian Hooi by judges' decision.

Relying on low kicks to contain Gaziev's counterattacking style, Macarrão started better, fitting his game plan and giving the Russian a hard time. During the assault, however, “Deadshot” balanced the actions, but Mafra maintained the advantage. Until she stepped wrong and appeared to suffer a knee injury – the inevitable scream of pain and a quick signal caused the central referee to stop the fight.

After the event, the organization announced that more serious injuries such as a fracture or rupture of a knee ligament had been ruled out, but the Brazilian will undergo complete examinations before returning to Kings MMA.

In the main fight, Eldarov knew how to use his world-class wrestling to dominate the young Brian Hooi. Interestingly, the Dutch prospect also suffered a knee injury during the fight, but he knew how to mask the pain and continued until the end of the 15 minutes. The Russian secured his third Brave win.

In the second most important duel of the night, Jarrah Al-Selawe survived a good first round from Tahar Hadbi to turn the fight around, win the decision and qualify for the Brave welterweight title fight, currently in the hands of Carlston Harris.
