Rivera, upon realizing that his arm was hanging, ran out asking for the fight to end. The referee took a while to arrive, and he even took a few blows from Royal.

In the main fight of the LFA, Ian Heinisch knocked out Brazilian Gabriel Checco, becoming middleweight champion. Gabriel Checco, survivor of the terrorist attack on a music festival in Las Vegas in 2017.
