“We have already taken these measures. Luckily, my agent Dan Lambert has all the money in the world. He has already hired a full security team, (and) whenever I go to events or anything related to the UFC, I will have armed security guards with me,” said Covington, in an interview with 'MMAjunkie Radio'.

The fight between Covington and dos Anjos would initially be at UFC Rio on May 12th. But as the North American came to receive death threats in Brazil, due to provocations in UFC Sao Paulo, in October of last year, Ultimate decided to move the fight to Chicago.

With five consecutive victories in Ultimate, Colby has 13 victories and just one defeat on his record. His last fight was against Demian Maia at UFC Fight Night São Paulo, where he won the judges' decision.
