Renan Barao faced the Englishman Brad pickett “at home” at UFC 138, an event held last Saturday, and did not give the British athlete a chance. “The objective is this (fighting for the belt),” said Barão. “When you come to the UFC, it’s to fight for the title. I’m ready at any moment”, added the Brazilian.
The Nova União team athlete still made a point of praising his opponent, but did not forget to value his preparation for the fight.
“I trained very hard for this fight, and Brad Pickett is a very difficult opponent” said Barão. “I was very excited for this fight. I trained very hard and managed to win”, he added.
