Lightweight Luan Miau will have the most important fight of his career this Friday night (13), at Brave 11. The 23-year-old Bahian will compete for the event's interim belt against his compatriot lucas mineiro. Before climbing into the cage, the fighter spoke to the reporters and explained his expectations for the fight.

“I'm going for the knockout. I'll be ready to knock out, finish in the first round. I want to enjoy the rest of the night”, joked Miau, confident of victory.
After confirming the dispute against Mineiro at the official Brave 11 weigh-in, Luan talked about his preparation for the duel.
“It hurts my heart to eat lettuce every day, to have a healthy diet. But if we don't have that, we'll die in the gas. All my preparation was sensational, I have great professionals by my side.”
World promise and fight against friend
Luan Miau was considered one of the biggest promises of 2018 in world MMA, by the English magazine Fighters Only. Without letting the expectation of success go to his head, he says that, despite thinking about giving up sometimes, all success is the result of his work.
“All of this is the result of my work. I dropped everything to do this, it's a miserable job. You have to love it. I've thought several times why I didn't go to college like my mother said, why I didn't go to work. This is what I love, I worked hard for this to happen. Everything is fruit, you just have to work hard and you'll get what's right”, said Miau, who will climb into the cage set up on the Esplanada do Mineirão, in Belo Horizonte, to fight against his friend lucas mineiro.
“Mineiro is a super friend of mine. He arrived and said we were going to fight each other, and I said we weren't going to stop being friends because of that. We're going to be professional and it's going to be the biggest fight in Brazil. We even reduced contact a little, due to the penalties. At the time of the staring, I got a little tense. But then they both started laughing,” he concluded.
