Mayweather reveals interest in buying football club and signing Cristiano Ronaldo

Considered the highest paid sportsman in the world, Floyd Mayweather has money to waste. With wealth in the billions, the fighter wants to open up his investments in the sport. The biggest winner in boxing history is considering buying Newcastle, a football club in the Premiere League, England's first division. The team was put up for sale by current owner Mike Ashley and 'Money' showed interest in the business.

In an interview with the Daily Mail newspaper, Mayweather, who earns more than US$300 million per fight, made clear his passion for the northern English city. The fighter commented that he will celebrate a lot of chaos if he manages to buy the club.
