In an interview with the official WWE YouTube channel, Rousey detailed the difficult times she went through after the setback against Amanda and the help from her husband and fellow UFC fighter Travis Browne.
“I remember my last fight (against Amanda nunes), leaving thinking that God hated me. There was nothing left inside me. But my husband is an incredible person and has helped me a lot in difficult times,” said Rousey.
“He would stand by my side and tell me, 'You are more than a fighter.' It's not a bad thing and it's not something you have to feel ashamed of. It’s something I should value and show to the world and that’s why I’m here,” he added.
