Anderson Silva This Monday, he inaugurated the Corinthians academy that also bears his name. The “Spider”, as he is known, praised the space built by the São Paulo club and valued the growth of the sport.
“I never had this structure at the beginning of my career. Now, everything is new, everything is happening. And this is happening because of the growth of the sport,” said Anderson.
The gym has a weight room, great space for fighting and promises to be a breeding ground for new talents through social projects.
“We want to do social work within the club. We have this as a goal and we will work to make it happen. When it comes to sport, any incentive is good. Other clubs need to take Corinthians as an example so we can get children off the streets and off drugs.”
