Jiu-jitsu legend, Bruno Malfacine signs with Brave and debuts in Belo Horizonte

Nine-time world champion in the gentle art, Malfacine will make his debut for the Bahrain-based organization

Nine-time world jiu-jitsu champion and undefeated in MMA, flyweight Bruno Malfacine is the new signing of the Brave Combat Federation. The Brazilian will make his debut at Brave 11, scheduled for April 13th, in Belo Horizonte. His opponent will be announced in the coming weeks.

At 31, Malfacine began focusing on MMA after a historic run in the gentle art, when he won nine IBJJF World Championships, as well as four Pan-American and one European titles. In 2017, the Brazilian from Duque de Caxias, in the Metropolitan Region of Rio de Janeiro, made his MMA debut, overcoming Romário Garcia with an armbar in the first round.
