Nine-time world jiu-jitsu champion and undefeated in MMA, flyweight Bruno Malfacine is the new signing of the Brave Combat Federation. The Brazilian will make his debut at Brave 11, scheduled for April 13th, in Belo Horizonte. His opponent will be announced in the coming weeks.

At 31, Malfacine began focusing on MMA after a historic run in the gentle art, when he won nine IBJJF World Championships, as well as four Pan-American and one European titles. In 2017, the Brazilian from Duque de Caxias, in the Metropolitan Region of Rio de Janeiro, made his MMA debut, overcoming Romário Garcia with an armbar in the first round.
During his transition to the new sport, the black belt joined the American Top Team, one of the biggest teams in the world, and trains with big names in MMA.
