St. Pierre suffers injury and is out of UFC 137

Change in the UFC 137 card, an event that takes place on October 29th, in Las Vegas, in the United States. The Canadian Georges St Pierre, who was scheduled to defend the welterweight belt against Carlos Condit, suffered an injury during training and is out of action.

The news was announced early this Tuesday evening by Dana White, president of the UFC, through his Twitter account.

“I have to deal with shit every day! GSP is out with an injury,” Dana said on his microblog.

With the GSP injury, Carlos Condit He also leaves the UFC 137 fight program and awaits the Canadian's recovery to fight for the belt. The duel between B.J. Penn, former UFC champion in the lightweight and welterweight divisions, and Nick Diaz, former Strikeforce champion, becomes the main attraction of the show.
