Multi-champion in Boxing, Floyd Mayweather will need to work hard to achieve the same respect in MMA. After hanging up the gloves of the noble art undefeated, 'Money' does not deny the rumors that he is negotiating a contract with the UFC. But even the Brazilian Chris Cyborg, the organization's women's featherweight (up to 66 kg.) champion, revealed that she could submit the North American in the Octagon.

“I would use my grappling and the first thing would be to try to take him down. If I boxed with him I would be crazy, but in MMA I would try to take him down. I wouldn't challenge my boxing against him”, he added, “I know [he would finish]”, stated Cris, in an interview with the North American website 'TMZ'.
Cyborg also gave his opinion on the boxer's possible withdrawal from retirement to fight in MMA. Mayweather has a record of 50 wins and no losses in boxing. The rumors began with a possible negotiation between Floyd and the Irishman Conor McGregor.
“Everyone thinks about money and shows. But I don't think it would be a redemption for him, it would be difficult. He would be in another area. He would have to keep his distance so they wouldn't knock him down. But if it happens, it would be epic,” he concluded.

Floyd Mayweather built the most successful career in boxing history. The 40-year-old fighter was a 12-time world boxing champion in five different categories. Floyd ended his career with an incredible 50 wins in 50 fights. In his last appearance, he defeated Conor McGregor in the Boxing x MMA superfight, in August last year. Now, the Irishman hopes to have a rematch with 'Money' in his sport.
Cyborg returns to the octagon at UFC 222, which takes place next Saturday, March 3, in the city of Las Vegas. She will put her belt on the line against the Russian It's Kunitskaya.
