Zingano cat is determined to fight with the Brazilian Ketlen Scallop at UFC 222, an event that takes place next Saturday (03), in Las Vegas. Even though she has been out of the cage for 21 months due to injuries, the American says she is 100% ready for her next fight.

“I'm super excited. I was waiting for this hunger and this excitement to align the way they did, and the way I worked for it. I’m very excited to be here and to return, and to do what I came to do,” she said in an interview with Revista Combate.
The similarities in the athlete's career are enormous. In 2014, she returned to fighting after suffering a serious injury to her left knee, which kept her from the ring for more than a year. On her return, she defeated the Amanda nunes and got the chance to fight for the belt against the then champion Ronda Rousey.
“Alpha Cat” dreams of another victory over a Brazilian on the rise, like in 2014 and with that having a new chance to compete for the bantamweight belt. This time against the current title holder Amanda nunes.
“I think both Ketlen and I have achieved a lot. In the last two fights, I didn't have my hand raised, but it doesn't change the fact that I did what I did in this sport. She's obviously growing and doing really well where she is. We both have our eyes on the title shot, I believe this is a real fight for the number 1 challenger spot, both have the capacity to do it. It’s time to measure our strength and see which of the two goes after the belt next.”
For Ketlen, this will be her biggest challenge, as the American has an enviable resume. At 35 years old and with 11 professional MMA fights, as well as a UFC belt fight and several overcomes due to injuries, there is nothing that Cat hasn't faced.
