Invicta FC, a traditional women's MMA event, innovated once again. In the 28th edition of the show, scheduled for March 24th, UFC fighter Elias Theodorou will be the attraction's 'ring boy', raising the signs at intervals of each round.

“Mixed martial arts has been at the forefront of (gender) equality in many different ways. You can see that women are at the top of pay-per-views and selling millions, and now also with me as the first ring boy”, said Theodorou, on the program 'MMA Hour'.
The adventure at Invicta FC will not be the Canadian fighter's first time as a 'ring boy'. The middleweight already performed this role at an event in Montreal at the beginning of the month.
Elas Theodorou has a professional record of 14 wins and two losses. He last fought in November, in Australia, when he beat Daniel Kelly. As soon as he ventures out as a 'ring boy' at Invicta FC, the Canadian must face the Brazilian Thales leites at UFC in Atlantic City, on April 21.
Through a video published on his YouTube channel, Theodorou talked about his preparation for work as a 'ring boy'.
