The fight between Cerrone and Medeiros delivered what it promised: a frank exchange of blows. The Hawaiian took the initiative at the beginning of the fight, but a quick counterattack from Cowboy knocked Medeiros down, who quickly got up. The fight remained open with good attacks on both sides. But at the end of the partial, Cerrone won. He landed a combination of jab and straight that made Yancy fall.
