With the Brazilian Fabricio Werdum In the spotlight, Ultimate released the official poster for UFC Fight Night London, an event that takes place on March 17th, in the English capital. The art released by the organization, in blue and red, is inspired by the United Kingdom's Royal Air Force.
Werdum appears right at the front of the poster alongside his rival, the Russian Alexander Volkov. Behind them, the protagonists in the second most important fight of the show, light heavyweights Jimi Manuwa and Jan Blachowicz.
This will be Werdum's second main fight in the Octagon. In November last year, he faced Marcin tybura at UFC Australia, winning his second consecutive victory, via unanimous decision. Before that, the Brazilian had finished Walt Harris, with an armbar, in just over a minute, at UFC 216. The triumph over the North American came after the controversial defeat to alistair overeem in July 2017, at UFC 213. Volkov has a series of four consecutive victories, the last being over Stefan struve at UFC Rotterdam.
In addition to Werdum, Brazil will have another representative on the card. Working on the preliminary program, Elizeu Capoeira faces Jack Marshman.
