Former UFC light heavyweight champion, Jon Jones took drastic measures seeking to prove his innocence after being caught in a new anti-doping test after UFC 214, in July last year. The American hired and passed a polygraph test, a lie detector to ensure that he did not take steroids voluntarily. The information comes from the North American website MMA Fighting, which says that “Bones” passed the test.

The detector was used in Jon Jones on December 7th and the former champion took the test willingly, as neither USADA nor the UFC asked him to undergo this procedure. He has not yet received an official punishment from the CSAC (California Athletic Commission), but is provisionally suspended by Ultimate, in addition to having lost the light heavyweight belt he won at UFC 214.

This was the second time that Jones fell victim to doping. In 2016, days before UFC 200, the North American was caught for using two banned substances and the rematch with Daniel Cormier Was canceled. A year later, at UFC 214, Jones finally faced his arch-rival again, knocking him out and regaining his light heavyweight belt. However, after the fight, he was caught in a drug test again and DC was given the title back.

Fatal change? Makhachev ignores warning and could end tragically at welterweight!
