The premiere of paige vanzant in flyweight it was disappointing, but it showed once again that the American muse is one of the toughest fighters in the UFC. She broke her arm in the first round when throwing a spinning punch in her duel with Jessica Rose-Clark at UFC St. Louis last Sunday (14). Even so, VanZant stayed in the fight until the end, even resisting a triangle choke from the Australian for more than a minute during the second round.

Shortly after the end of the duel, however, the American held her right arm in pain and was caught holding back tears. A few hours after the end of the event, VanZant used social media to show the extent of the injury. She shared an x-ray image that shows her right arm is clearly broken.
Well, I broke my arm in the first round. I managed to go until the end of the fight, but, as you can see, I had trouble releasing my game with my right arm. I will come back better and stronger than ever. This is part of the fighting world. God has other plans for me. Damn that punch!” commented VanZant, showing good humor about the situation.
