Former boxer Floyd Mayweather appears willing to grant a rematch to Conor McGregor. At least that's the impression after the North American started teasing the Irishman on his social media. Last Wednesday (10), “Money” recalled his rival's incident with the Irish mafia and, through his Twitter, said that there was “f… McGregor in 2017 and now they are going to f… McGregor in 2018. He will start 2018 with a bang!”

McGregor did not stay behind and also said on Twitter that he was the cartel himself, alluding to Mayweather's provocation. Afterwards, the former boxer took to Instagram, posting a photo of him punching McGregor, with the caption “you violate and I will demonstrate”, referring to Conor having broken small rules of the noble art during the fight. Shortly afterwards, the Irishman returned to hit back at his rival, with a photo of him standing on top of him, telling Mayweather to “violate my s…”.

Finally, the North American posted a photo of himself with the Irish flag on his arms, from the time of the pre-fight press conferences, with the following caption.

“I am the new king of Ireland. And it only took 28 minutes,” said Mayweather, referring to the duration of his fight with arch-rival McGregor.
