The two main exponents of Brazilian MMA at the moment seem to be on a collision course. Despite the denials of Chris Cyborg, the technical Amanda nunes, Conan Silveira guaranteed that his pupil will face the featherweight champion sooner or later. The Brazilian, who trains the bantamweight belt holder at American Top Team, believes that the UFC will eventually convince Cyborg due to the superfight's appeal.

Amanda and Cris are the two Brazilian UFC world champions currently, including the men, who have been without titles since José Aldo lost the belt in June last year.
“I'm not 100% sure, I'm 1.000% sure that this fight will happen. This is something everyone wants to see, even those who think they will lose something from it. It's a fight between champions, you don't see that all the time. And it will be a great moment for MMA, regardless of gender. People want to see this fight. I think this is the best opportunity they have to mark their names in the history of the sport”, commented Conan, in an interview with the North American website MMA Junkie, also guaranteeing that Amanda will be prepared for the challenge of beating Cyborg.
“I think she will come very well prepared, specifically for this category. You won't have to cut weight, so you'll be very strong. I think this will offset the natural strength that is Cyborg's advantage. It’s a perfect fight for everyone,” she declared.
