Joanna Jedrzejczyk participates in torch relay for Winter Games

Former UFC champion did not hide her happiness at participating in the ceremony: 'Beautiful emotions'

MMA is not yet an Olympic sport, but that doesn't stop its athletes from participating in the party anyway. The Polish Joanna Jedrzejczyk, former UFC strawweight champion, was part of the Olympic torch relay on its way to PyeongChang, South Korea, for the Winter Olympics.

Through a post on Instagram, Joanna did not hide her happiness at being part of the relay. “Beautiful emotions with incredible people,” wrote Jedrzejczyk, on the social network. “For Poland and for all UFC fans. Everything for you”, he added.

Joanna Jedrzejczyk, 30 years old, has a professional record of 14 wins and just one loss. The Polish woman was champion of the UFC strawweight division until her last fight, in November 2017, when she was surprised by Rose namajunas. The fighter's setback was considered one of the biggest upsets of the year.
