Cris Cyborg returns to Strikeforce in December

Strikeforce champion since 2009, the Brazilian Chris Cyborg He has not yet defended his belt in 2011, but despite a long delay, the wait for a challenger came to an end this weekend. The Strikeforce organization announced that the Brazilian athlete will put her title on the line at the event scheduled for December 17th, in San Jose, California. Cyborg's opponent will be the Japanese Hiroko yamanaka, who has a record of 12 wins in 13 fights.

In turn, Cris, who will work for Strikeforce for the first time after the sale of the organization to the UFC, has a professional record of 10 wins and just one loss, and will be defending his belt in Strikeforce for the third time.

The fight program of this edition of Strikeforce will also feature yet another title fight: Gilbert Melendez, pupil of the Brazilian Cesar Gracie, will put the lightweight belt on the line against Jorge masvidal.
