Through her Instagram, Cris posted a montage of a poster for the possible fight with Megan, who is the current Invicta featherweight champion, succeeding Cyborg herself. The rush for the duel is explained by the fact that Anderson was having trouble returning to the United States and could only fight in his own country.
“I got a call asking if I would fight with Megan anderson in her home country and I said yes!”, the Brazilian commented briefly.
UFC 221 already has a title fight for now: Robert whittaker defends his middleweight belt against Luke Rockhold in the main fight.
