Cris Cyborg demands punishment for photographer who insulted her

Brazilian wants Mark Aragon to be punished by the UFC and opponent Holly Holm's team. Professional apologized

A few days after the victory of Chris Cyborg about Holly holm, the photographer for the North American team, Jackson-Wink MMA, started a controversy by referring to the Brazilian as a man. Upon learning of what happened, the UFC featherweight champion demanded punishment from Mark Aragon, both by Holm's team and by the UFC. Cyborg wants Aragon to be prevented from accrediting himself to future Ultimate events, in addition to being fired or reprimanded by Jackson-Wink.

The Brazilian argued that she was respectful throughout the promotion of the event and the fight with Holly holm. The two know each other well, having even acted in a film together – “Fight Valley”, which also featured Miesha Tate, former UFC bantamweight champion.

Through her social networks, the Brazilian also made a point of publicly demanding an apology from the North American team, who only made a mea culpa, citing apparent provocations from Cyborg herself. According to the team's staff, Cris was laughing at Holly when reviewing the fight on her cell phone, backstage at UFC 219, which was held on December 30th. After what happened with Aragon, some members of the team, such as coach Brandon Gibson, apologized, but the team itself only made a mea culpa. The photographer himself admitted his guilt and also made a point of apologizing to Cyborg, who has not yet responded.
