Duel of giants: Arlovski and Struve face each other at UFC 222

Ultimate announced, this Thursday (28), a collision of giants for UFC 222, an event that will take place in Las Vegas, on March 3rd. Former world heavyweight champion Andrei Arlovski will try for his second consecutive victory against the Dutch Stefan struve. The Belarusian is coming off a victory over Brazilian Júnior “Baby” Albini in a recovery fight after the brutal defeat he suffered at the hands of Francis Ngannou and the setback to Marcin tybura, by decision.

Struve fought the main fight at home, at UFC Rotterdam in September, but ended up defeated by technical knockout by Alexander Volkov. The setback interrupted a positive streak of two fights for the 2,13m Dutch giant. He had won Antonio Pezão and Daniel Omielanczuk, with both wins coming last year.

UFC 222 does not yet have a main fight announced, but three other fights have already been announced. The Brazilian Ketlen Scallop seeks to maintain her unbeaten record and move towards a bantamweight title fight by facing the former title challenger Zingano cat. Dana White Contender Series event sensation Sean O'Malley takes on Andre Soukhamthath, while veterans CB Dollaway and Hector Lombard they measure strength in valid combat by average weight.
