“When I joined MMA, my biggest ambition was to be world champion and become the first woman to hold world titles in boxing and MMA. I did this when I won Ronda Rousey. In boxing, I was champion in more than one category and now I want to repeat that in the UFC (…) I know what I'm capable of and if I get there and implement everything I know inside the octagon, I'll beat Cyborg”, commented Holm, in interview with the North American program UFC 219 Countdown.

Case Holly holm achieve the feat of becoming two-time UFC champion, she will join a restricted club, which includes champions Georges St Pierre (middleweight and welterweight), Conor McGregor (featherweight and lightweight), Randy Couture (light heavyweight and heavyweight) and B.J. Penn (light and medium-medium). Of these, only McGregor still has one of his belts, the lightweight one.
