On the eve of the first defense of his UFC featherweight belt, Chris Cyborg admits he has his eyes on another challenge and another sport. The Brazilian recently revealed that she would love to follow in the footsteps of Conor McGregor and test your skills in a professional boxing superfight. Cyborg faces Holly holm in the main fight of UFC 219, but admitted that he has already informed Dana White, president of Ultimate, about his other dream.

“I love competing. I have been competing since I was 12 years old. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, but we always learn. I like to compete in everything, jiu-jitsu, wrestling, muay thai… So if I have the chance to compete in boxing one day, why not? I think that when you only train in one discipline, you learn more. Dana White knows my desire. I told him that I would love to have the opportunity to do what McGregor did. A boxing match. I would love to do that. I love my job, I love fighting and I love competing”, commented the Brazilian in a conference call.
Cyborg admits, however, that the focus remains on MMA. So much so that, in an ideal world, she would only venture into boxing after finishing her cycle in UFC and MMA.
“It would be great to end my career and have a boxing fight, but I don’t know if that will happen,” he declared.
