“I'm sure you remember what I said about Wanderlei after his last fight. He was very upset and wanted a new opportunity, so he will have his chance”, said White, who was full of praise for the Brazilian. “This guy has been in this sport a long time and I have a lot of respect for him. He’s fine, so we’re going to give him another chance”, added the top hat.

However, White did not fail to reaffirm that Wanderlei Silva is at risk if he is defeated by the former Strikeforce champion.

“There's a fine line between telling a guy he has to retire and him actually wanting to retire. We'll give you this fight with the Cung le and we’ll see from there”, concluded Dana.
