Coming from defeat to Volkan oezdemir, Jimi Manuwa has been campaigning to fight in UFC London, which takes place in March next year in the British capital. In an outburst posted on his social networks, “Poster Boy” also said that the light heavyweight division is full of “cowards”, who prefer to preserve their positions in the rankings rather than fight and advance.
“These light heavyweights are cowards. These cowards are refusing to fight so they can maintain their rankings. What's the point in having a ranking if you can't fight the top guys? Glover refused to face me and Shogun too. Three of the top-10 fighters in the category don't want to face me!”, commented Manuwa, via his official Twitter.
Shortly after Teixeira's victory over Misha Cirkunov at UFC Winnipeg last Saturday (16), Manuwa used social media to challenge the Brazilian, who admitted he was not excited about a possible duel with the Englishman. Glover's expectation is that he will be selected to fight again for the division title, after the fight between the champion Daniel Cormier and the challenger Volkan oezdemir.
