“It would be the most incredible thing in the world (to return to heavyweight and fight for the title). But there is a big catch. I would have to think about the best way to climb. I would need a solid plan to get back to the weight I need to be to compete against these guys. Because I'm not going to go in there to lose and say I did my best. If I go in there against Miocic or Ngannou, I'll go in to win. This is me. So it would be me and my team really organizing a solid plan for me to move up in weight in a healthy and strong way to fight these guys”, pondered Cormier, who guarantees he is at a different stage in his career.

“I don’t need to do anything else. Now, I only fight because I love this sport. I feel like my career speaks for itself. Regardless of anything. I know my name is linked to Jon Jones and everything else. But I think I did enough to say I feel good, man. I’m not looking for anything else”, commented DC, who defends his belt against Volkan oezdemir at UFC 220.
