Belfort out! Wanderlei Silva faces Cung Le at UFC 139

Vitor belfort was scheduled to face Cung le at UFC 139, an event that takes place on November 19th, in San Jose, in the United States, but an injury during training took the Brazilian out of action. To replace him, the UFC organization acted quickly and called up another Brazilian athlete for the show: Wanderlei Silva will try to rehabilitate himself in the organization and face the fighter of Vietnamese descent.

“Vitor is injured and won’t fight in San Jose. Now, Cung faces Wand,” wrote Dana White, president of the UFC, on his Twitter account.

Wanderlei Silva He moved down to the middleweight division in February 2010 after a series of poor results at light heavyweight. In his debut in the new category, Silva resoundingly defeated the Englishman Michael Bisping. But after a series of injuries, Wand returned at UFC 132 in July this year and was quickly knocked out by Chris Leben. After the setback, Dana White even declared the retirement of the former Pride champion, but gave up on the idea and the “Crazy Dog” is scheduled to return to the Octagon.

  1. you said:

Cung Le is very good technically but Wanderlei's natural talent is greater,

    acquired talent vs. natural talent.

wanderlei silva beat skilled fighters like shibata,
But he had to use his inhuman aggression to win
